It's been a while.....

So, I know it's been a really long time since I've blogged. Brandon and I have been pretty busy with life. It's been crazy! Ok, where to start.... I walked for graduation in July, and we got our own apartment in Idaho Falls. It's a nice little basement apartment, a two bedroom with a pretty large kitchen! Recently, I've been working at my internship. It's been Amazing!!! Actually, they offered me a job there!! It's been a wonderful experience. Brandon got a job at Wal-Mart. He's been working nights and I have been working during the day. We are still moving into our apartment in some parts.. lol : ) And, the other day for the first time we got internet!!!! It's so exciting! We don't have to go to grandma's and spend all day there using the internet!! lol So, I figured that since we have internet again, I can start blogging. I mean, I actually have the time for it now : ) So I've recently taken up a project. I've started sewing. I bought a sewing machine for a really good deal!!  :) I've been making curtains for our basement windows. You see, we want to get the light from the windows, but we don't want to see into the window wells. The view in the isn't exactly the prettiest. : ) So I'm making some small, light curtains to cover the horrifying view. I'm also making another curtain to cover the cable wires that are coming in from the window in the living room. I am also taking a look at redecorating many things in the apartment, adding a bit of color to the rooms. If you know what I mean....

Johana's First Trip to Lagoon

So for Halloween this year, we went with Brandon's cousins to Lagoon for Fright Mares. I had never been to Lagoon before. When Brandon first heard that, he got so excited, which made me a little nervous. Then he told me all about the wonderful SKY COASTER!!! I thought he was crazy. For those of you who don't know what the sky coaster is; it is a ride where they strap you up in a safety harness. Then you walk out to the platform and they clip you to pretty much a bunch of thick wires. Then the platform you are on drops and they pull you up, up and up. When you get to the top you are so far above the ground you don't know what to think. You just know you don't want to fall and hit the ground because you probably won't get back up. There was no way in my life I would ever get on there. Then someone pulls the cord and you go flying across the sky above the ground. You swing back and forth until you slow down, they stop you and your done. I ended up going on it. We got up there and I realized, maybe I should've taken a quick bathroom break.... :( Next thing I know, Kelauni pulls the cord, my stomach drops. And there we go! It was such an exhilarating feeling! But I was screaming the whole way down. I was shaking like crazy when I got off .We had so much fun. There were a lot of fun rides. It was really fun to go on some of the rides and have Ryan, Kelauni's boyfriend screaming. He screams so loud.
While we were there we also went into some haunted houses. Some were fun and some were not so fun.We had so much fun. It was definitely worth the trip!

Quick Family Road Trip

The week before the wedding, Brandon and I met his family in California for a little road trip. I know it was kinda crazy because it was so close to the wedding.. but it really was a fun trip. We met them at my Grandma Della's house in Vallejo. The next day we went to San Francisco and took a tour. The next day we drove through the Redwood forest. It was gorgeous, I slept most of the trip but, it looks like my parent's home. Just MUCH larger trees.

Here we are sitting in the middle of San Fran. Don't we look so excited? lol
It was actually a lot of fun. We saw so many different things; crazy expensive cars, cool store front designs, and lots of people. Just across the street from this picture is the Cheese Cake Factory. We made a quick run in and grabbed an whole cheesecake. Mostly just for Clint, we know how much he loves cheesecake.. :)

Next we went out to eat. We stopped at a Chinese restaurant. there was soo much food!!

This is when we were just coming out from San Francisco. There is a rest stop/park just on the other side of the bridge. Man, it was so cold and windy outside! I was freezing, I don't know what Brandon was thinking.

Getting on top of that log was easy. Getting down? Now that was another thing. Brandon and Justin were nice enough to catch us while we slid down the side of it. If you could only see how big this log really was.

We stopped for a quick break on the side of the road and there was a really large tree! We had so much fun taking pictures with the tree!!

We decided to connect our arms together and see how far we could go around the tree. As you see in the next picture we were just shy of making it all the way around. It's a really big tree.
